Refund policy
Refund policy
Last updated 20 August 2026.
We want you to love the book. If you don’t, we’d like to make it right. This is our plain-English refund policy.
Before payment
Nothing is charged until you press Order on the checkout page. You can back out any time before then, at zero cost. Cancel the tab and walk away — nothing lingers.
After payment
Each book is personalised and printed to order — a unique PDF is built from your child’s photograph the moment you press Order. The book has no resale value to anyone else, which is why the general 14-day right to cancel distance-sold goods does not apply (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, Reg. 28(1)(b) — personalised or made-to-order goods).
However, we still refund you in full in any of these situations:
- The book arrives damaged or defective — torn, wrongly bound, missing pages, misprinted colours. We reprint free of charge or refund in full, whichever you prefer.
- The delivery takes longer than the maximum shown at checkout (plus 7 days grace) — we refund the whole amount at your request.
- The printed book differs from the preview you approved — reprint or refund, your choice.
- The book gets lost in the post — we replace it for free or refund in full.
How to request a refund
Email us at hello@raisinglegends.ai within 30 days of receiving the book. Include your order number (in your confirmation email), a short description of the issue, and — if possible — a photograph of the problem. We normally reply within one working day and refund within five.
How refunds are paid
Refunds are made to the payment method you used at checkout. Depending on your bank they normally show up within 3 to 10 working days after we issue them.
Your statutory rights
None of the above limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You are entitled to a book that is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
